THE COOPERATIVE

Founded in 1993, the Cap Dauphin Fishermen’s Cooperative is a pillar of the maritime industry in the Magdalen Islands. In its early days, there were only 27 boats and less than 10 employees. Today, it brings together 100 Magdalen Islands fishermen and employs more than 100 people, including 25 foreign workers, who contribute to its growth.

Committed to offering an exceptional produce, the cooperative adheres to the highest quality standards, both in local and international markets. Thanks to these new refrigerated facilities, well-oxygenated tanks, and vertical shower systems, it ensures the freshness and vitality of the lobster at every stage, from the sea to our plate. Its expertise guarantees a premium product, prized by consumers for its authentic flavor and exemplary traceability.

A VISION FOR THE FUTURE

Sensitive to the preservation of resources, the Cap Dauphin Fishermen’s Cooperative prioritizes responsible and sustainable fishing. More than a supplier, it embodies the maritime heritage of the Magdalen Islands and contributes to the vitality of an entire community.
