THE COOPERATIVE

Founded in 1993, the Cap Dauphin Fishermen’s Cooperative is a pillar of the maritime industry in the Magdalen Islands. In its early days, there were only 27 boats and less than 10 employees. Today, it brings together 100 Magdalen Islands fishermen and employs more than 100 people, including 25 foreign workers, who contribute to its growth.

Thanks to these new refrigerated facilities, well-oxygenated tanks, and vertical shower systems, it ensures the freshness and vitality of the lobster at every stage, from the sea to our plate.
